Registration — Shakuhachi Summer Camp

Includes camp attendance, single-room accommodation at Scripps College (shared accommodation is available upon request), linens, all meals at Malott Dining Commons, and a parking pass. Meals start with lunch on June 6th and end with breakfast on June 10th.

Day campers will be able to buy meals á la carte at Malott Dining Commons with our camp price structure of $16|breakfast, $19|lunch, and $23|dinner. Click here to see the menu (changes daily)

Extra nights with or without included meal plan - $140|$280 and $80|$160

If you're a camper who wants to extend their stay beyond the camp dates, we're happy to offer the option of one or two extra nights on June 5th, June 10th, or both. You can choose to have three included meals per day or no meals at all. The pricing is as follows: one extra night with 3x meals costs $140, two extra nights with 3x meals costs $280, one extra night with no meals costs $80, and two extra nights with no meals costs $160.

Bring a partner/spouse/SO to Claremont - $480 | $600 | $720

If you plan on bringing someone with you to Claremont for the duration of the camp, you have the option of adding another person to your registration for four nights. Of course, that person can also be added for the one or two extra nights on June 5th and June 10th. This additional cost includes lodging and three meals per day for the additional person (Note that the camp experience is not included for the second person without paying for it). If you want to include a plus one in your registration without the meal plan, please reach out directly before making the payment.

There is a donation option on the registration form for those who wish to contribute to our scholarship fund. This fund will be used to sponsor individuals who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints.
